Supreme Court record corrected from “hundreds of thousands” to “hundreds, thousands.”
On Monday, after going over transcripts of the oral arguments for the National Federation of Independent Business v. Department of Labor case, the Supreme Court revised a transcript to correctly reflect Justice Neil Gorsuch’s statements about the flu. The original transcript documented Justice Gorsuch saying that the flu kills “hundreds of thousands of people every year,” but was updated with his actual statement of “hundreds, thousands of people every year.”
The National Federation of Independent Business v. Department of Labor case is currently being discussed in the Supreme Court. They are deliberating whether or not a stay should be placed on OSHA’s vaccine-or-test policy for businesses with 100 or more employees. A decision in the case is expected shortly.
